BRYAN (SCHREDER) RS-15

Designer R.E. Schreder built the RS-15 to OSTIV Standard Class specifications. Licensed in the amateur-built
experimental category, its assembly is relatively simple with most major components pre-made to cut building
time to about 500 hours. The shoulder-type wings are all-metal with the exception of polyurethane foam
ribs. Provision for a 200-pound water ballast is inside the wing’s box spars. Seating is for one pilot in a prefabricated fiberglass pod from which an aluminum-tube tailboom stretches back to an all-metal V tail. The tail and wings can be folded and removed for storage or travel.
