  1. Like many student pilots, I did my flight training in Cessnas with yokes. I’ve always supposed that the yokes are supposed to be like the familiar steering wheels that automobiles have.

    Since then I have mostly flown Diamonds – both DA-20 and DA-40 – and I find the center-mounted stick to be extremely easy and intuitive to operate. Had no trouble whatsoever transitioning from yoke to stick. Diamond made a smart choice with the stick.

  2. you said cessna changed the wing on the 172 in 68 and called the model M, in 68 and extremely early 69 it was still K. What do I have wrong?
