This week, Mooney International parted ways with CEO Dr. Vivek Saxena. There is, as of yet, no official word on why Saxena and Mooney split. Though he held the position for less than a year, a lot happened on his watch, including certification of the Ovation Ultra and the Acclaim Ultra.

Saxena’s resume before joining Mooney in August of last year is impressive. In addition to holding a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cambridge, he worked for Pratt & Whitney in various positions for nearly 16 years and taught Cornell University. Mooney’s current CFO, Albert Li, will be taking the helm until a new CEO is chosen.
