After a rocky start when European parent OMF GmbH declared bankruptcy, Symphony Aircraft Industries emerged from the fire as a standalone company with the 14 CFR Part 23 type certificate to resume productionof the high-tech two-seater. The flying surfaces are of standard aircraft aluminum construction. The fuselage structure is steel tubing with a non-structural fiberglass shell. Variants of the Lycoming-powered aircraft are in testing.
