Destination Details

  • Destination: Sedona Arizona
  • State/Province: Arizona
  • Website: www.sedonaairport.org
  • Airport ID (Check airport ID here): SEZ
  • Activities: The best stop between the Rockies’ and the West Coast. This is the most beautiful spot in the West. On our last trip to Sedona we stayed at the L'Auberge de Sedona http://www.lauberge.com/ which was fantastic and I highly recommend the resort as well as the creek side restaurant
  • About Your Plane: A 1982 Beechcraft B36TC which is the high performance "Mercedes" of the air
  • Flying Tips: You have to concentrate of making sure that you look for traffic in the area for two reasons, planes will disappear into the gorgeous terrain and you will likely become mesmerized by the beauty and forget to look for traffic and there is a lot of air traffic in the area.
  • Best Season: Yearround
  • What To Bring: Any Outdoor Gear
