  • Activities: Tour the Wright Brothers'National Memorial. There are several monuments and a museum on site that tell the brothers' history as they worked toward that historic first flight. The beach is across the street if you just want to relax and there are several places to eat nearby. My recommendation is the Pier House Restaurant oat the Nags Head Fishing Pier. Casual place on the beach.

  • Flying Tips: Watch out for birds on the north end (approach end of Rwy20) of the runway. AOPA flight planning building next to the parking ramp is GREAT! Make sure you register on the computer for a certificate to show you visited KFFA.
