  • Activities: This is one of the best outdoor fly-in destinations in the country. It has its own airport with a fly-in community on one side and resort on the other. The resort features golf, fishing, canoeing on the Deschutes River, tennis and snow skiing in the winter. Sunriver has it all.
  • About Your Plane: I first flew to Sunriver in 1985 in my just-purchased 1973 T-C310. It was a trip to remember
  • Flying Tips: Look for Sunriver in central Oregon in the high desert area. It's just south of Bend and/or Redmond. There are major mountains just to west.
  • Best Season: Spring
