The tee at Hole #1 of “The Old Course” is the oldest golf tee in continuous use in America. The first President to play golf while in office was William McKinley in 1899. There are three championship golf courses, one of the world's premier spas, a world-class shooting club, fly-fishing, 100 miles of trails to explore, and an award-winning Kids Club. • Flying Tips: Ingalls Field Airport is one of the more challenging airports to land and takeoff from. Known as “the aircraft carrier” for its position atop a ridgeline, it is frequently subjected to high, gusty winds which are also frequently a direct crosswind over the top of the ridgeline. Use caution and choose a calm day to go in/out of there.
