FAA Licenses and Ratings Offered: Airframe and Powerplant; Number of Training Airplanes and Types: 7 fixed-wing airplanes and 2 helicopters, of which 4 are turbine-powered (Sabreliner, A-6E Intruder, Turbocommander and UH-1 Helicopter); Degrees Offered: Bachelor of Science in Aviation Maintenance Technology, Associate of Applied Science in Aviation Technology and Certificate in Aviation Maintenance Technician.


Remarks: Pennsylvania College of Technology, an affiliate of Pennsylvania State University, is a co-educational, publicly supported institution and is fully accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. The bachelor’s degree is accredited by the National Center for Aircraft Technician Training. The associate’s degree and certificate program are certified by the Federal Aviation Administration and approved under Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 147. The facility is a modern, state-of-the-art aviation center built in 1993 with full runway access at the Williamsport Regional Airport.
