Remarks: San Juan College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commissions and is a member of the North Central Association as well as numerous national and state organizations. The flight program, founded in 1989, shares an educational partnership with Mesa Air Group, one of the nation’s largest commuter airlines, operating America West Express, US Airways Express, Frontier JetExpress, United Express, Midwest Express, and in New Mexico and Texas as Mesa Airlines. The program offers a 19-month ab initio degree program as well as a 19-week PACE program for pilots. Graduates of the programs are guaranteed an interview for a first officer position with the company; placement success has averaged in the 90th percentile for the past 14 years with the company.
