2017 Vision Jet Up For Grabs

If you're in the market for the single-pilot light jet but missed your chance to get in early on the 600+ order long Cirrus Vision Jet waiting list, you might not be completely out of luck after all. At the end of July, Sporty's---in partnership with Cirrus, of course---will be auctioning off a Vision Jet.

The jet in question will be among the earliest deliveries. It's scheduled to go to the auction winner this fall. The auction itself will take place online during AirVenture. Bidding will open on Sunday, July 23 and close on Friday, July 28. For those interested in participating, there's a sign-up form to fill out on Sporty's website, in addition to information about the auction rules and conditions.

As additional incentive, if the winning bid goes over the Vision Jet list price of a cool $1,927,653, the extra money will be donated to charity. The charities that will receive the funds include The Sporty's Foundation, AirSpace Minnesota and the Duluth Children's Museum. Incidentally, the minimum starting bid for the auction is $1,927,653.
