In each issue of Plane & Pilot magazine, we share a handful of gear for pilots that we feel pilots and aviation enthusiasts would love to have.
The round-up in our January/February 2020 issue includes an ADS-B Receiver, a flashlight from Smith & Wesson, a GoPro camera, and more. Click through the gallery below to view all of the items.
AirGizmos Wheel Chocks
Bringing your own wheel chocks on a trip can be a necessity when planning to land off-airport or in a location without such amenities. However, they can also take up a good deal of precious cargo space that could otherwise be put to good use. Thatâs where the AirGizmos wheel chocks come in handy. The chocks are stackable and consequently can fit in a tight space either in an airplane or in a hangar. They weigh just 3.2 ounces each and measure 8 inches long. The sides are made of durable plastic, and the edges feature non-skid material to help them remain in place. The chocks are available in pairs of two, which sell for $17.95.
