Pilots searching for a classic pair of sunglasses that will both protect their eyes and allow them to still see their instrument panel can find a good product in the Aviator Sunglasses from Randolph. These glasses provide 100 percent UVA/UVB protection in a pair of frames that are both impact and scratch resistant. The clean-cut shape of the frame is combined with a number of features that make these glasses very pilot-friendly. In addition to being non-polarized, the glasses also have unique bayonet temples that allow them to easily and comfortably slide underneath a headset. The glasses are available in a number of different colors, including light green, blue sky, bronze, gray, green and orange. Frames also come in different options, such as 23K gold, bright chrome or gunmetal, among others. Available in three sizes—52, 55 and 58 mm—these glasses are made mostly by hand in a process that includes more than 200 steps. Each pair is accompanied by a leather case and a cleaning cloth pouch. The glasses are priced at $219.
