This low-wing taildragger of all-wood construction comes from France where homebuilding was flourishing long before the movement took hold in the United States. The distinguishing feature of the Jodel is the bent wing with a straight center section and dihedral in the outer panels only. It is powered by Continental enginesof 65 to 90 hp and seats two in side-by-side fashion. The company also made the Jodel D-9 "Bebe," a singleseat
monoplane. The Jodel aircraft are now owned by Avions Jodel.
