Lightspeed Releases Tango Headset

After years of being asked when a wireless headset will be released, Lightspeed Aviation has finally announced the launch of Tango, the world's first premium wireless aviation headset. The freedom of wireless communications can now be enjoyed by pilots and passengers alike, from a pioneer in premium aviation performance. "There are a number of electrical and acoustic issues that made the project a challenge," said Allan Schrader, CEO. Another pioneering feature is Tangos recharchable lithium-ion batteries in the headset and the panel interface. Like all Lightspeed headsets, Tango includes Bluetooth for both phone and streaming music and an auxiliary input jack for connecting audio devices via a patch cable, and is compatible with FlightLink, Lightspeed's in-cockpit recording app. Tango retails for $800 and is available in dual GA, LEMO (panel power), and heli (U-174) configurations.
