More Speed, More Power
We did a complete overhaul of Plane & Pilot; The all-new magazine is on its way to you now.
The new Plane & Pilot is on its way to you. As I type it's at the printer and speeding down the press. We are tremendously proud of it, and can't wait to hear your reaction. On the cover is an airplane with a story that in many ways mirrors our own, a brand that was down and out but is on the way back up, thanks to hard work, great teamwork, lots of good ideas and a great brand to start with, Mooney, as we publish in our May issue the first flight report on the Acclaim Ultra. There will be more of those firsts to come too, we promise.
We've got a new logo, and new cover layout, which my boss tells me will have to remain a mystery for now, no matter how much I want to share it with you. The inside has been redesigned, as well, to be clean, accessible, and strong. We won't be using weird graphics for the sake of weird graphics. You can get that look elsewhere.
Our coverage will stick to what we pilots care about too, again unlike others that are looking to capture non-pilot readers with coverage of airliners and drones. We're fine with being pilots writing for pilots (and non-flying aviation fans, too, of course) Some of your favorite writers are still here, including Bill Cox, Peter Katz and Patty Wagstaff, and we've got no shortage of new writers who will, we're confident, become your favorites. There are new artists, photographers, designers and storytellers, and to a one, they are at the top of their game. We hope you love it. We think you will.
And we're asking for your support to keep pilot-centricaviation alive. If you're not a print subscriber, we'd love for you to sign up. We promise you a great read, with compelling story telling, great photography and illustrations, outside-the-box thinking on technique and cutting risk, cutting edge aviation science, and hard hitting opinion. And more. Lend your support for real aviation coverage for real pilots by clicking here and spending just a few bucks for a print experience that will be one you'll want to come back to over and over.
