Welcome Kate O‘Connor To Plane & Pilot

New associate editor joins our growing team.

Plane & Pilot is proud to welcome Kate O'Connor to our growing team. Kate joined the brand this week and will serve as associate editor based at our Braintree, Massachusetts, offices.

Like all of us, Kate is a pilot. After becoming enthralled with aerobatics as a teen, Kate knew she wanted to be pilot and headed off to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Prescott, Arizona campus. There, she majored in Aeronautics, so she did a lot of flying, and minoring in Applied Meteorology, which we're certain came in handy with the flying part. While at Riddle, she also competed as part of the school's National Intercollegiate Flying Association Golden Eagles Flight Team, specializing in the computer flight planning part of the competition. Kate has a Private Pilot's certificate and an FAA Dispatcher's certificate, as well.

So join us in wishing Kate a warm welcome to the Plane & Pilot team.
