From Farmingdale State College: The Farmingdale State College Department of Aviation can help you “earn your wings” or prepare you for a career in a non-flight area of the incredibly diverse aeronautics industry.
Their department offers the largest collegiate Flight School in the Northeast Region and the only SUNY school to offer four-year degrees in Aviation.
Farmingdale State College has its very own Aviation Flight Center which is the primary hub for flight training and features advanced aviation training devices. Their fleet consists of 17 aircraft that the College owns and operates. The Aviation Flight Center is less than 2 miles from the main campus, making it easy to get to.
