Containing The Flames
As bad as you hate to see wild fires, they can make for some amazing shots. This pilot and his aircraft was helping fight a blaze right outside our home a couple years ago. He made several passes and I was able to catch this shot right after he dumped his retardant and helped the ground crew contain the blaze.

Early Bird Gets the Best Parking
Rising early to shoot arrivals to the Experimental Aircraft Association’s Sun-N-Fun fly in Lakeland, Florida, I was greeted with morning ground fog which made for an interesting sunrise glow as fly-in volunteers marshalled arrivals into parking slots.
