Founded: 1965; FAA Licenses and Ratings Offered: Private Pilot through ATP as well as King Air 90/100, Citation I/II/SII, Saab 2000 and Seneca II/III/IV aircraft type specific training offered; Number of Training Airplanes and Types: 100 singles and twins, including turbine aircraft and Zlin aerobatic aircraft for Upset Recovery training; Degree Offered: College credit available for ratings/certificates with select aviation universities and colleges.
Remarks: Devoted to preparing pilots for a professional flying career. Airline-approved transition program prepares graduates for rapid transition to first officer professional status in turbine aircraft. The school has a career development office. The academy is fully accredited. Full flight simulators (up to FAA Level D) and interactive training systems, 6 Frasca FTD's, 8 PCATD's including a GAT II for spatial disorientation training, are among the wide range of equipment.
