Cessna's TTx Receives Type Certification In Brazil


Cessna Aircraft received type certification of the all-composite TTx aircraft in Brazil from the Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil. Deliveries to customers in Brazil commenced in November at Cessna's facility in Independence, Kan. Jodi Noah, Cessna senior vice president for Single Engine/Propeller Aircraft, said: "The TTx is a testament to the innovation and commitment of the Cessna team responsible for delivering this exceptional aircraft to the market. Aspen's EA100 Receives FAA And EASA Approvals

Aspen Avionics announced its EA100 autopilot adapter is now capable of emulating the Century 52D66, 52D67, 52D166 and 52D167 attitude indicators. The EA100 is now compatible with all attitude-based Century IIB, III and IV autopilots, as well as the Piper Altimatic-branded autopilots. This new certification is in addition to the Century 21, 31, 41, 2000 and 4000 certification announced in October 2013. "The EA100 provides superior digital attitude information and extends the life of legacy autopilot systems," said Mark Ferrari, Vice President of Sales and Customer Support. STC For Century C4000 Autopilot

Century Flight Systems have received Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) from the FAA for the installation of their Century C4000 autopilot in the Piper PA-30 and -39 Twin Comanche.
