The Explorer Aircraft Aqua Glider can be towed behind any powerboat capable of speeds in excess of 35 mph. The biplane wings have a forward stagger and make use of a conventional single wooden spar and balance floats on the tips of the lower wing. The hull is built from spruce and mahogany plywood, then covered with fiberglass up to the waterline. Standard twin jumper skis are attached to the bottom of the hull.
