King Schools Names Rich Martindell As Vice President, Course Content & Experience

King Schools, announced the promotion of Rich Martindell to Vice President, Course Content and Experience.

King Schools, announced the promotion of Rich Martindell to Vice President, Course Content and Experience. John King Co-chairman of King Schools explained, "Rich is now responsible for creating engaging and inspired courses that will have the latest information and provide an outstanding customer experience." Mr. Martindell has been with King Schools for over 8 years, and was most recently Director of Product Development. King Schools is best known for its online interactive video ground schools.

Previously Martindell was a pilot in the United States Air Force. He was an F-15 Instructor Pilot, Director of Operations for the NATO flight training facility at Decimomannu Air Base in Sardina, Italy, and Chief of Safety and Aircraft Maintenance Quality at Bitburg Air Base in Germany. After retiring from the Air Force Martindell was chief test pilot for the F15 flight simulator program for L3 Communications.

Continued King, "Rich is an enthusiastic participant in general aviation. He regularly flies general aviation aircraft and is a formation flight instructor for the Red Star Pilots Association. He is president of the San Diego Safety Counselors, a member of the FAA Safety Team (FAAST) and a member of the City of San Diego Airports Advisory Committee appointed by the Mayor of San Diego. He regularly teaches ground schools for San Diego Air and Space Museum and the employees of General Atomics to help them be familiar with general aviation."

Mr. Martindell says he has always had a keen interest in flying----and his father was a WWII pilot. Says King, "Rich is the ideal choice for this leadership position at King Schools."
