Destination Details

  • Destination: Pellston Regional Airport
  • State/Province: Michigan
  • Airport ID (Check airport ID here): KPLN
  • Activities: Pellston is one of the most memorable destinations to which I have flown. The field is located just a few miles from Lake Michigan and Mackinac Island. It lies nestled in rolling, wooded hills and is beautiful. There is a great restaurant located on the second floor with panaramic windows which offer a great view of the field that seems hard to come by these days. The service I received while there was great, and the FBO had a nice pilot's lounge with bunk beds for the weary.
